Most groups need to structure theor ideas for a narrative more carefully
You must use the elements of a narrative:
A chain of events (plot) cause-effect
Character types: hero, princess, helper, wise man etc
Story types: The Chase, The pact with the devil, The loss of something, The fall of the powerful
Binary Opposition: Hero/Villain, Man/Woman, Protagonist/Antagonist
Structure: What are the stages of the journey/story - act 1, act 2, act 3
How are these structured around the songs verses/choruses
Genre:
Romantic - boy meets girl, boy looses girl, boy gets girl back again
Western: stranger comes to town with a past - establish her's deadly/powerful, seeking justice/old life draws him in, threats to something he cares about, one on gang gets beaten, heals and grows for the lesson, shootout at noon kills enemy, rides off into the sunset
Remember: Shots make sequences, sequences make scenes, scenes make plot, plot makes story
